This search engine is based in Switzerland and provides completely anonymous search results devoid of tracking or logging information about user behavior. All of their servers are located within Switzerland, so they enjoy some of the strictest privacy laws on Earth as well as generous civil liberties such as freedom of speech (the latter as opposed to Google, which only recently allowed for the publishing of uncensored search results from the past decade for those affected by China's so-called "Great Firewall"). Unlike Google, Swisscows does not use crawlers to index web pages. It uses a technology called 'Web Cache Deception,' a system that saves the content returned by the server directly. This ensures that no trace of your search ever passes through Swisscows' servers, and there is, therefore, no way for third parties to access this information even if they tried.
