Uber is a popular ride-sharing app that allows you to request a ride from your iPhone. The affordability aspect of this app is what makes it so great - it's free to download and you get price estimates before you book a ride. This way you can know if it's worth pulling out your bike or just walking to your location if you want to save the cash! The only limitation with this app is that Uber might not yet be available in your town - or even your country. There is a reputation aspect of Uber where you can rate drivers (they can rate you too) so you can make an effort to only have the most punctual and friendly drivers on the platform.
